Students at the Chippendale school learn something new every day

Oil, gas and sawdust

Ross Cunnison, originally from Stonehaven but now living in Edinburgh, previously worked offshore for ten years in the oil and gas sector.

Prior to that he studied geophysics at the University of Edinburgh.

His decision to enroll on our professional course was influenced by enjoying his experience of being on a Chippendale school one-week introductory course earlier this year.

The great thing about the introductory course is that, for students who then decide to enroll on a professional course, the course fees are fully deducted.

Ross is “thoroughly enjoying” the course so far, and is considering woodwork as a career post-graduation.

Meanwhile, we show him here mastering the intricacies of a mitred bridle joint.
