Clock ticks on professional course

It’s that time of year when we may have to disappoint potential students who didn’t get their applications in quickly enough.

Although we still have a couple of places for our professional 30-week course beginning in October, we urge anybody still thinking about it to contact us very soon – or face the disappointment of the course being full.

The Chippendale school only takes 25 students on our professional course and, so far, this year’s intake are from the UK, USA, Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Australia, Canada, Germany, Zimbabwe and Poland.

As always with such an international student complement, they’ll also be learning from each other and the woodworking influences in their countries.

They’ll also be at the heart of a real woodworking community at the school, with several alumni now working on the campus having set up their own businesses.

It’s part of our holistic approach at the Chippendale school, creating incubation space where ex-students can work and make use of all the school’s machinery.

So, if you’re thinking of joining us later this year, don’t leave it too long because the clock is ticking!
