We have an ideal location, nestling in the heart of the East Lothian countryside yet only a few miles from the centre of Scotland’s vibrant capital city, Edinburgh, and there is no shortage of things to do after the School day ends or at weekends.
The School sits at the base of the rolling Lammermuir Hills that form a natural border between East Lothian and the Scottish Borders. The area is well known for its beaches and hill-walking – and, during half-terms and holidays, there is time to visit the Scottish Highlands to enjoy some of Scotland’s most majestic scenery.
There are over twenty golf courses within 30 minutes of the School, and three within ten minutes drive. And the famous Glenkinchie Distillery is close by for those who want to sample Scotland’s most famous export.
The ancient market town of Haddington offers a wide range of social and sporting facilities, and students have even been known to take lessons in Scotland’s national instrument, the bagpipes.
